Our family learning courses for parents and carers cover a range of topics including healthy eating, growing, jam making, local history, confidence building, energy saving in the home and more. Our “Keeping up with the kids” course is designed to help parents and carers understand what their children are learning in English, Maths and ICT and improve their skills to enable them to help their children.

Our employability skills training is designed to help those who want to gain employment, boost their confidence or improve their career prospects. The programme is delivered in six, three hour sessions typically spread over six weeks. Courses include training and support in finding job vacancies, writing job applications and CVs, preparing for interviews and accessing work experience.

Courses will be delivered from September 2016 in various venues across Merton.

For more information and to register an interest in any of our family learning and employability programmes, contact Geoff Herschell by email on Geoff.Herschell@groundwork.org.uk or telephone on 07702 942144.
