Merton Council is very happy to support Transport for London’s Children’s Traffic Club.

The club is aimed London-wide to all pre-school children in a far reaching move to reduce child casualties on our roads. With Transport for London’s sponsorship the club is free to all three year olds, and is an effective and proven way to deliver road safety education to pre-school children.

Good habits established early last a lifetime, and with this in mind the Children’s Traffic Club educates both young children and their parents on road safety, encouraging an awareness of good road safety practice for both pedestrians and drivers. Nurseries also have Traffic Club resources so find out if your nursery is participating.

The Children’s Traffic Club Song

musical notes on a stave

We’re all in The Children’s Traffic Club,
The Traffic Club,
The Traffic Club,
We’re all in The Children’s Traffic Club,
Keeping safe each day

The song is just one part of all the resources such as books, templates, puppets, tapes and CDs, that are available from the Children's Traffic Club.
