Shout About Your Volunteering

Celebrate volunteering during Volunteers’ Week 2014

Merton Council and Merton Voluntary Service Council (MVSC) along with other local partners including Volunteer Centre Merton, the police, fire brigade and Merton Chamber of Commerce are proud to celebrate this year’s 30th anniversary of National Volunteers’ Week.

National Volunteers’ Week, which runs from the 1st – 7th June, is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate volunteering in Merton.

Shout About Your Volunteering (SAYV) is a campaign to highlight people who live and work in Merton and freely give their time for the benefit of their local community.

Throughout the first week of June 2014 we are publishing a new volunteer story every day with the aim of providing an insight into the many different people across the borough giving their time in a range of ways. You can read all the volunteer case studies we published below.
