Funding for voluntary and community projects and organisations

Funding opportunities from Merton Council

The following funding opportunities are available on an annual basis:

Strategic Partner Programme

We are commissioning a new set of strategic partners, to whom we will provide grant funding with services funded from April 2019. The Programme comprises five separate elements:

  • Information and advice
  • Voluntary sector infrastructure support
  • Wellbeing services
  • Carers service
  • Healthwatch Merton

Details of our new Strategic Partners will be confirmed in due course.

We are extremely grateful to the work of the Collaborative Working Group who helped us develop the programme. This group of people, drawn from the Council, voluntary sector, and partners, came together to discuss, research, challenge, and debate all aspects of the new programme. The timescales were very tight and people gave very generously of their time and experience. We would like to give a special thank you to the following groups who given their time and enthusiasm to this process to date:

  • Merton MENCAP
  • Merton Community Transport
  • Merton and Wandsworth CCG
  • Merton Voluntary Service Council
  • Merton Centre for Independent Living
  • Springfield Advice and Law Centre
  • Imagine Independence
  • South West London Law Centres
  • Age UK Merton
  • Citizens Advice Merton & Lambeth
  • Wimbledon Guild
