Raynes Park Local Centre Enhancement PlanRaynes Park

We have prepared the ‘Raynes Park Local Centre Enhancement Plan’ which is intended to guide short-medium term investment in the physical environment in Raynes Park centre. The plan indicates how resources from us and external partners will be allocated to projects in Raynes Park over the next three years.

The plan seeks to improve the attractiveness and functionality of the area to ensure that it remains a competitive destination for local shopping and services.

November 2010 Project Update

A project update was presented to Raynes Park Community Forum on 23 November 2010. The presentation can be downloaded below:

November 2009 Street Scene Consultation

Bellmouth proposal

From 26 to 28 November 2009 we consulted jointly on the revised cycle lane proposals and draft Street scene design concepts for Raynes Park Local Centre.

Working with Place Design and Planning, we prepared a series of designs to improve the streets and public spaces in Raynes Park, making for a more vibrant centre for shopping and a safer environment for pedestrians. The designs also incorporated the latest proposals for a new cycle route in the area.

We consulted on the draft design concepts for streets and public spaces in Raynes Park local centre; questionnaires were carried out and displays exhibited in the town centre library for public feedback.

The consultation findings were published and implemented in early 2010.
