Data sharing and sources

Anyone working within public health or any individuals with an interest in public health may find the sources below useful. They have health related data and tools which can be used to look at numerous health related conditions. This data allows readers to compare areas of interest to other areas and to both National and Regional data enabling them to build up a picture of their local environment and neighbourhood.

Data sharing and fair processing

All Local Authorities have a duty to improve the health of the population they serve. To help with this, we use data and information from a range of source data, including data collected at the registration of a birth or death to understand more about the health and care needs in the area. You have the right to object to the use of your personal data for specific purposes; please contact us in writing or by email if this applies.
