We offer a wide range of courses for adults across Merton in partnership with our specialist training providers South Thames College, RHACC (Richmond and Hillcroft Adult Community College), Aim Skills Development and MI ComputSolutions.

Family Learning Courses

Family learning courses provide a fun way to spend time with your children whilst learning. A whole range of activities and courses are available and can include mums, dads, carers and guardians.

The courses and activities are a great way for adults and children to learn new things together. They enable adults to have a better understanding of how children learn, and can help improve social skills and relationships.

Courses for learners with learning difficulties or disabilities

Merton Council and RHACC provide a wide range of courses for adult learners with learning difficulties and disabilities (LLDD) in venues within Merton. Learners have the opportunity to take part in activities that will help them build their work skills, enhance their ability to live independently, and be more confident.

We currently have courses in progressing on (English, maths, work and vocational skills), English and maths, developing IT skills, personal and social development, eco awareness, horticulture, meal preparation, arts and crafts, lip reading, exercise and active leisure, performing arts and dance.

Courses are currently held at three venues within Merton: Pollards Hill Library, High Path Day Centre, and the JMC. All venues offer a safe environment with good transport links and safe drop-off points.

Our LDD courses are offered to learners on an individual basis, following an assessment process.
