Statutory Consultation 1 February 2019

Following the informal consultation in September / October 2018, we are carrying out a statutory consultation on our intention to introduce a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) in the Love Lane area, Mitcham.

Representations in regards to the proposals described in this Notice must be made by email to trafficandhighways@merton.gov.uk or in writing to Future Merton (Traffic and Highways Team 9th Floor), Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, SM4 5DX.

Representations must reach the Council by no later than 22 February 2019 quoting reference ES/MTC1. Objections must relate only to the elements of the scheme that are subject to this statutory consultation.

Informal consultation 13 September 2018

Following a petition received from residents in the Love Lane, Mitcham area, experiencing parking difficulties in their road, the Council is proposing to introduce a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) and is conducting a consultation to give the community an opportunity to express their views with regards to operational days and hours.

Let us know your views 

The Council is seeking the views of the community for a proposed CPZ by asking all parties to submit their views through the online e-questionnaire, see the web link below. The decision on whether or not to proceed with the next stage, which would involve a statutory consultation on the proposal, will be subject to the online responses received during this informal consultation.
