Cancel a parking permit

If you wish to cancel your permit please return it to the address below with a covering letter. We will calculate a refund based on the value of the full months remaining until the expiry date of the permit from the date that we received the returned permit. An administration fee of £20 will be deducted from the refund amount. Please note that refunds may take up to 4 weeks to process.

In the event that a parking permit or an Annual Visitor is cancelled and a refund requested by the permit holder, any new permit purchased for the same vehicle or an address before the expiry date of the cancelled permit will be given the same expiry date as the cancelled permit. The charge will be calculated pro-rata for the duration of the new permit.

Please note we will not refund unused half or full day visitor permits, or permits issued to residents for electrically powered vehicles.
