Visitor parking permits

Visitor permits allow friends, relatives and tradesmen to park in your controlled parking zone (CPZ) when they are visiting you. Visitors must use the designated parking bays.

Visitor permits can be purchased in sheets of 10 half day or 10 full day permits. These are limited to the equivalent of 50 full day permits or 100 half day permits per year, per household. If you wish to exceed this limit you must contact Parking Services.

When using the scratch card permits, simply tear off individual permits as required and scratch off the day, date and month of use When using half-day permits you must also indicate AM/PM. Full day and half day visitor permits do not have an expiry date.

Costs

All full and half day visitor permits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Annual visitor permits are limited to 1 per household. A £25 setup fee may apply if this is your first permit application. We are unable to issue a replacement permit in the event that an annual visitor permit is lost or stolen. A new permit must be purchased.

Please note, that if an annual visitor permit is lost or stolen, we will issue a replacement permit with the existing expiry date. A £10.00 administration fee is applicable. Annual Visitor permits can be returned for a pro rata refund of unused months. In the event of Annual visitor permit being cancelled and a refund is requested, any new request before the expiry date of the cancelled permit will be given the same expiry date as the cancelled permit. The charge will be calculated pro-rata for the duration of the new permit.

Annual visitors permits can be returned for a pro rata refund of the unused months.
